Storm Hits Five Of Aceh's Fishermen In Smeulue Waters

MEULABOH, Aceh, Nov 7 (Antara)- Rescue team found three of five fishermen alive after they were hit by storm and disappeared in the waters of Pulau Babi in Simeulue District, Aceh Province on Sunday. "They were found alive after being hit by the storm by swimming into the uninhabited island of Pulau Babi at 04.30 pm," according to coordinator of the rescue team in Simeulue District, Rahmad Kenedy. The three fishermen were identified as Budiono (28), Rijal Setiawan (35) and Said Suhaidi (35). It was reported earlier that nine persons of boat crew went missing in the Simeulue waters of Aceh after their boat was hit by storm early Friday (Nov 4). In the accident, four fishermen survived, while five others missing at the coordinate of 02:31:29 northern latitude and 96.27.07 East longitude. Meanwhile, the rescue team continue searching the other fishermen namely Arianto (32) and Roking (34), as these two persons were apart from the three fishermen.
