Premier's support to journalism praised

Manama, July 9 (BNA): Shaikh Khalifa bin Rashid Al Khalifa underlined today the interest of His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa in issues raised by journalists and writers. He was speaking as he received today journalist and writer Mohammed Mubarak Juma’a. He lauded the issues raised by the writer in his articles which reflects broad knowledge and patriotism. Shaikh Khalifa also affirmed that HRH the Premier’s support to journalists and media persons reflects deep belief in the role of journalism in shaping public opinion, backing development efforts and defending the nation. On his part, the writer Mohammed Mubarak Juma’a expressed heartfelt thanks and gratitude to HRH the Premier for his continuous support to journalists and writers.
