Algeria seeks Iran Khodro's cooperation in auto-manufacturing

Algerian Industry Minister Hamid Temmar here Saturday voiced his
country's interest in Iran Khodro Company's cooperation for
transferring the technology for the production of heavy vehicles to
Algeria.


Speaking during a visit to Iran Khodro Company, he commended the
company's industrial achievements and capabilities in the field.

Commenting on the quality of Iran Khodro products, he added that it
uses high-level technology and keeps up with international standards.

"During my visit to Iran Khodro, I saw advanced production lines and
the company can be considered the biggest auto-manufacturing company
in the Middle East," he said.

Welcoming the export of Iran Khodro products to Algeria, he called for
its cooperation with his country.

"We will use the company's experiences in the production of heavy
vehicles," he noted.
