Commander-in-Chief lauds solid ties with UK

Manama, Apr. 8 (BNA): Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa received here today the UK Maritime Component Commander Commodore W J Warrender, marking his appointment to his post. The BDF Commander-in-Chief welcomed the UK Maritime Component Commander, and wished him every success in assuming his duties. He lauded the deep-rooted outstanding Bahraini-UK relations, and praised bilateral cooperation, progressing steadily in all fields, especially the military one. Director of Military Security Major-General Hassan Mohammed Saad, and Commander of the Royal Bahrain Naval Force (RBNF) Commodore Shaikh Khalifa bin Abdulla Al Khalifa attended.
