Premier receives ADB guest
(KPL) Prime Minister Bouasone Bouphavanh received the Director General of Southeast Asia Department of Asian Development Bank (ADB), Mr Arjun Thapan, here on Tuesday.
Mr. Arjun visited Laos to further the cooperation between Laos and ADB.
Mr. Bouasone said that the assistance from ADB is very important , which contributes to the national socio-economic development, especially basic infrastructure development and the poverty reduction of Lao ethnic people.
The Prime Minister also highly valued the cooperation and assistance ADB has provided to Laos so far and hoped that the bank would further assist the country in the future.
Mr. Thapan expressed thanks to the Prime Minister for his warm welcome.
