Laos-Vietnam enhance cooperation in bank sectors
(KPL) The central banks of Laos and Vietnam signed a Memorandum of Understanding on last Thursday in Vientiane to exchange lesson on managing banks and financial institutes.
The MoU was signed by Mr Somphao Faisith, Vice Governor of the Bank of the Lao PDR and Mr Tran Minh Tuan, Vice Governor of the Bank of Vietnam.
Governor of the Bank of the Lao PDR, Mr. Phouphet Khamphounvong, and Mr Dinh Hua Bu, Vietnamese Ambassador to Laos Consultant and relevant officials of both sides witnessed the signing.
The MoU is aimed to facilitate the translation into reality of the MoU signed last December by the Governors of both national banks on lesson exchange on managing banks and financial institutes.
