HRH Premier: Combating terrorism requires concerted international efforts

Manama, Dec. 30. (BNA) – His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has stressed that war on terror requires concerted international efforts in order to succeed. He also said that Bahrain would do its utmost to contribute to international efforts aiming to eradicate terrorism. HRH Premier voiced the stances during an interview with the French "La Lettre Diplomatique" (The Diplomatic Letter), to be published in its January, 2015 edition. The interview focused on HRH Premier's visions towards a number of local, regional and global issues, as well as the friendly Bahraini-French relations. HRH Premier highlighted Bahrain's recent parliamentary and municipal elections, noting that the high turnout of the citizens testified to their keenness to exercise their right of electing their representatives to the Representatives and municipal councils. He said that the Bahraini is a land of religious and cultural diversity in which people from various races, religions and culture co-exist in love and harmony. On "Gulf Union", HRH Premier said that each member country would support its interests within the collective framework of the Gulf Cooperation Council. Regarding Bahraini-French relations, HRH the Prime Minister welcomed French investors in Bahrain, affirming the kingdom's keenness to take advantage of the France's advanced technology in all fields. He expressed pride in the exiting cooperation and friendship relations with the French people.
