Five central provinces of Laos organizing tourism festival

(KPL) The National Tourism Administration in cooperation with Vientiane province held a meeting on how to raise money for the tourism promotion festival of five central provinces in Vientiane.
Mr. Somphong Mongkounvilay, Minister to the Prime Minister’s Office, President of the National Tourism Administration and Vientiane Governor, Mr. Khammeuang Phongthady were at this meeting last week.
Mr. Khammeuang said that the 2nd tourism promotion festival of five central provinces is scheduled to be held in Vangvieng district, Vientiane province, from 26 January to 1 February next year.
The festival will feature an exhibition of local and foreign products. This exhibition will also showcase handicraft and art from the five central provinces and Vietnam.
This tourism promotion festival aims to promote tourism to the five central provinces. It is also trying to link culture and tourism and in doing so attract tourists to Laos.
