BNA discusses boosting cooperation with Russian RIA Novosti

Saint Petersburg, May 23 (BNA)-- Bahrain News Agency (BNA) Acting Director General Mohannad Suleiman Al-Nuaimi met in the Russian capital, Moscow, today Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Russian RIA Novosti news agency Pavel Andreev, on the sidelines of the international forum hosted by Russia. They discussed ways of bolstering cooperation between BNA and RIA Novosti in terms of exchanging information and media services as well as organising training sessions. Mr. Andreev reviewed the main news services launched by the agency recently, expressing keenness to enhance cooperation with BNA. On his part, the BNA Acting Director General lauded cooperation between both agencies, pointing out that there has been an agreement to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with BNA in Bahrain next month as part of BNA's keenness to broaden the scope of cooperation with other international news agencies. He praised BNA's good reputation and its keenness to avail of regional and international news agencies' successful experiences. A O Q
