RUSSIAN BALLET-MASTER GIVE MASTER CLASS TO YOUNG AZERBAIJANI DANCERS

Baku, 28 November,(AzerTAj)Ballet-master for renowned Mariinski Theater of St.
Petersburg Vasili Medvedev has given master ballet classes for the students of the
Baku Choreographic School No27.
According to Nulifer Karimova, Director of Baku Choreographic School, a lot of
students of the School wanted to take Medvedev’s ballet classes to improve their
technical and artistic skills.
Principal dancers and company teachers for the various Russian Theaters, when on
tour in Azerbaijan, frequently give master classes for the students of the Baku
Choreographic School.
Mriinski Theater’s company arrived in Azerbaijan to take part in the International
Music Festival marking the 75th anniversary of People’s Artist of the USSR and
Azerbaijan, Professor Arif Melikov.
The Theater has started its Baku tour with Arif Melikov’s “Legend of Love” piece.
