Labour Affairs Undersecretary meets a Bangladesh delegation

Manama, May. 5. (BNA) The Labour Ministry's Assistant Undersecretary for Labour Affairs Dr. Mohammed Ali Al Ansari met here today a delegation from the Ministry of Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment (MEWOE) of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, led by the Director at MEWOE Mohammed Nurul Islam, within the framework of the delegation's visit to promote bilateral relations in the labour and human resources fields. They explored ways to consolidate cooperation in various fields, including the labour sector, and benefiting from the successful experience in specialised technical training, rehabilitation of human cadres and incorporating them into the labour market as well as developing the labour market's regulations and laws in the two countries in accordance with the national legislation and the international labour standards in order to preserve the acquired rights of workers. Al Ansari informed the delegation on the recruitment programmes and plans in Bahrain and their success to maintain unemployment rates within the average limits, as well as Bahrain's commitment to the protection of workers and providing a safe environment for them.
