Bahrain-Russia Business Forum concluded

Moscow, Apr 29 (BNA) – A high-level Bahraini businessmen delegation alongside with approximately 200 Russian prestigious business leaderships participated in Bahrain–Russia Business Forum which concluded today in Moscow. The Bahraini delegation accompanies HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, First Deputy Premier and President of Economic Development Council, on his current visit to Moscow. The Forum was organized by Bahrain Economic Development Board, Ministry of Industry and Commerce, Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Russian Direct Investment Fund, Russian-Arab Business Council, Bahrain–Russia Business Council and Russian Development Bank (Vnesheconombank). High-level business leaders participated in the Forum, including Vnesheconombank's Chairman, Dmitriev Vladimir Alexandrovich, Co-President of Bahrain-Russia Business Council, BCCI's Chairman, Khalid Al-Moayyad, Minister of Transportation and Acting Executive Director of Bahrain Economic Development Board. Transportation Minister said Bahrain has a great opportunity to benefit from by strengthening economic and trade relations with Russia, noting the variety of investment opportunities and diversity of products available in Gulf Market to be exported to world markets. BCCI's Chairman underscored the notable growth of non-oil exports goods between Bahrain and Russia, and the investment opportunities available in Bahrain, in addition to its geographical location in the heart of the Gulf region. Gulf Air, the national carrier, announced during the visit the launch of a direct air route between Bahrain and Moscow. MJ
