Prince Al-Waleed receives Bahraini delegation

Riyadh, Apr23(BNA)His Royal Highness Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud received a Bahrain Athletics Association (BAA) delegation led by Deputy Chairman Mohammed bin Jalal who conveyed greetings from Supreme Council for Youth and Sport (SCYS) Deputy President and (BAA) Chairman Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa. (BAA) Executive Director Yusuf Ahmed also attended the meeting at the Kingdom Holding Company (KHC) in Riyadh. Mr. Jalal briefed HRH Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud on (BAA) lined up programmes and activities to honour Bahrain in different arenas, in line with the directives of Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa. HRH Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal commended the initiatives of Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa., citing particularly the "Khalid bin Hamad Challenge", whose proceeds went to benefit cancer patients. He hailed the initiatives and achievements of Supreme Council for Youth and Sport (SCYS) Chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) President Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa. He lauded deep-rooted historic relations between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, paying tribute to the leaders of the two countries for their wisdom and statesmanship. HRH Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud extended his greetings to Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa and Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, affirming his constant support to Bahrain.
