TRA General Director wins 11th Middle East Executives Award

Manama: April 21 – (BNA): The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA)'s Director-General Mohammed bin Hamad Bubshait won the 11th Middle East Excellent Executive Award. The Award was awarded to him at a special ceremony in Dubai last week in recognition of optimum performance, leadership initiatives and remarkable role of consolidating foundations and principles of leadership as well as adopting best practices for excellence in the telecommunications sector commensurate with the objectives of competitiveness. Mohammed Bubshait expressed his delight and proudness to have won this award besides top executives, leaders and decision-makers who worked hard to accomplish excellence in leadership initiatives, citing the TRA's persistent pursuit and accomplishment of its mission, goals to develop and boost the telecommunications sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain and attaining excellent levels in all arenas of the IT and telecommunications sector and achieving the aspirations of the leadership. The Institute conducted field research studies over the past twenty years in governmental and private organizations aimed to identify the best technological, economic, financial, humanitarian, societal, creativity and leadership accomplishments on the basis of modern management, knowledge-based economy in order to honour senior executives, decision-makers, leaders and organizations capable of introducing change and consolidating the principles and foundations of leadership and to contribute in building modern standards for governance, organizational excellence for the sake of the future of the region up to international standards of competitiveness. The Institute has contributed in increasing community awareness regarding the vital role of expertise transferring to the community to consolidate the principles and foundations of successful leadership.
