Petrol prices drop by 500 VND per litre again
Hanoi (VNA) - Retail prices of A95 and A92 petrol fell by 500 VND
per litre on Oct. 31 to 15,500 VND and 15,000 VND respectively, following a
decision by the Ministries of Industry and Trade, and Finance.
Diesel and kerosene of different kinds saw the same drop in their retails
prices. This is the fourth petro price cut in October, with a total decrease
of 2,000 VND per litre.
A Finance Ministry representative said the move was taken in response to the
decreasing oil prices on the world market.
In addition, the ministry decided to raise import tariffs on petro from the
current 5 percent to 15 percent, and diesel from 0 percent to 10
