Qatar Embassy in UAE Celebrates National Day

Abu Dhabi, December 24 (QNA) - HE Qatar's Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Othman, who is the Dean of the Diplomatic Corps, hosted a reception ceremony on the occasion of Qatar's National Day. The ceremony was attended by Advisor to the UAE President Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, Sheikh Zayed bin Hamad bin Hamdan, Minister of State Dr. Maitha Al Shamsi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Butti Al Hamed, Sheikh Faisal bin Sultan Al Qassimi, Shaikh Fahim bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Chairman of Advisory Council Abdulla bin Mohammed Al Masaood, Assistant to the Minister of Foreign Affairs for Security and Military Affairs Fares Mohammed Al Mazroui, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs and UAE Special Envoy for Energy and Climate Change Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, Governor of Central Bank of the UAE Sultan bin Nasser Al Suwaidi, member of the Executive Council Dr. Mugheer Al Khaili and the Religious Adviser to the UAE President Ali Al Hashimi. The ceremony was also attended by a large number of senior officials, civilian and military dignitaries and heads of Arab and foreign diplomatic missions. The ceremony was also attended by Qatari students who study in the military and police colleges in the UAE and a number of representatives of various media in the country. HE Al Othman said in a statement to Qatar News Agency (QNA) that the National Day of the State of Qatar is a special occasion that materializes aspects of loyalty to the homeland and the wise leadership of HH the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.
