Mannai Opens Nominations for Board of Directors Elections

Doha, December 24 (QNA) - Nominations window for the Board of Directors elections to be held January 23 in the New Year have been opened, Qatar stock exchange listed company Mannai Corporation (QE: MCCS) has announced. Elections will be held for eight Board of Directors positions for a fresh three-year term starting January 23 2013 too January 22, 2016. Nomination requests can be submitted from January 6 to 10, between 8.00 am till 6.00 pm during working days Sunday to Thursday, the Qatari company said. The elections would be conducted during the Ordinary General Assembly meeting starting 6 pm on Wednesday, January, 23 and to be held at the Intercontinental Hotel. In case of insufficient quorum, a second meeting will be held on Tuesday, 29th January. Shareholders who wish to be elected or nominate another person to the Board of Directors are should visit the Board Secretariat at the company s headquarters to obtain necessary documentation for nomination within the time frame mentioned above. On the agenda of the Ordinary General Assembly is authorizing the Board of Directors with all the powers necessary for implementation of the assembly resolutions, the company said. (QNA)
