Culture Minister Confirms Interest in Entrenching Children's Culture

Doha, December 19 (QNA) - HE the Minister of Culture, Arts and Heritage Dr. Hamad bin Abdulaziz Al Kuwari has underlined , Qatar's interest in entrenching children's culture, stressing that it comes within the axis of cultural development of Qatar's vision and as part of the executive plan of the Ministry of Culture which seeks to confirm the preservation of our children's identity and ingenuity. In remarks he made during the launch of the book (Golden Directory of the Best Arabic books for Children), prepared by the Cultural Center of Children in collaboration with Bloomsbury Publishing on the sidelines of the 23rd Doha International Book Fair, Dr. Al-Kuwari said the Cultural Centre of Children helps the creation and promotion of a serious and meaningful culture for Qatar's children and performs its message of entrenching the habit of reading among youngsters to develop their creative skills, stressing that maintaining the authenticity of Qatar and the continuation of its modernization is a common duty of all state institutions that starts from children's development.(QNA)
