Qatar's Embassy in Beirut Celebrates National Day

Beirut, December 18 (QNA) - HE Qatar's Ambassador to Lebanon Saad bin Ali Al-Muhannadi on Tuesday held a reception ceremony on the occasion of Qatar National Day. The ceremony was attended by Lebanese Deputy Prime Minister Samir Moqbel, representing the Lebanese president, in addition to Lebanese parliament speaker, the prime minister, a number of ministers, former and incumbent MPs, a number of Arab and foreign ambassadors to Lebanon, along with a crowd of Lebanese dignitaries from political, cultural, art, media, religious, and military backgrounds. Addressing the attendees, HE Saad bin Ali Al-Muhannadi congratulated HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, noting that his efforts have led to achieving economic renaissance and sustainable development, establishing Qatar as main contributor to growth and development in the region and all over the world. HE Saad bin Ali Al-Muhannadi noted that Qatar's achievements have put it at a prominent place on the Arab, regional and international fronts. Speaking to QNA during the ceremony, Lebanese Interior Minister Marwan Charbel highlighted Qatar's role in establishing harmony and stability in Lebanon, pointing to the Doha Agreement. (QNA)
