National Day A Chance to Commemorate Founder, Head of Family Institute Says

Doha, December 18 (QNA) - HE Abdullah bin Nasser Al Khalifa, the chairman of the board of governors of The Doha International Institute for Family Studies and Development (DIIFSD) stressed Tuesday that the country's National Day provides an opportunity to citizens and residents alike, to commemorate the late Sheikh Mohammed bin Jassim bin Mohammed Al Thani, who laid down the first pillar of modern Qatar leading it to pride and loyalty. In a statement to Qatar News Agency (QNA) after the national parade at the Doha Corniche today, HE Al Khalifa hailed the great achievements Qatar has accomplished in many fields and sectors under the wise leadership of HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani and HH the Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. He emphasized the high status Qatar has reached among nations lauding the wise steps of HH the Emir who extended the path of progress that the founder started. On this occasion, HE Al Khalifa congratulated HH the Emir, HH the Heir Apparent and the people of Qatar expressing pleasure at the National day's Parade and lauding all the joint forces and units that participated in the successful parade.
