Qatar's Embassy in Colombo Celebrates National Day

Colombo, December 18 (QNA) - HE Qatar's Ambassador to Sri Lanka Saeed Abdullah Hilal Al-Mansouri held a reception at Taj Samudra Colombo Hotel, on the occasion of Qatar National Day. The function was attended by the Sri Lankan Minister of National Heritage Jagath Balasuriya, as the guest of honor and the representative of the Sri Lankan Government, Minister of Petroleum Industries Susil Premajayantha, Minister of Irrigation and Water Resources Management Nimal , Minister of Rural Affairs Athauda , Minister of Urban Affairs Mohamed Fawzi and a number of Parliament members in addition to senior government officials. The reception was, as well, attended by members of diplomatic corps and heads of international organizations operating in Sri Lanka, in addition to a large number of businessmen, media men and journalists. During the function a photo slide show was presented showing the important accomplishments and achieved during the reign of HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani. (QNA
