Qatar Advisory Council's Speaker Congratulates HH the Emir, HH Heir Apparent on National Day
Doha, December 17 (QNA) - Speaker of the Advisory Council HE Mohamed bin Mubarak Al-Kholeifi, has conveyed congratulations and felicitations to HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani and HH the Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani , the wise government and the faithful Qatari people on the occasion of Qatar's national day which falls on December 18th of every year, and asked Allah the Almighty to perpetuate on Qatar grace, stability, prosperity and growth.
In an exclusive statement to qatar news agency (QNA) Monday on the occasion of Qatar's National Day , HE Mohamed bin Mubarak Al-Kholeifi , said on the occasion , states have the right to celebrate their respective leaders and prominent personnel who make history of their countries and similarily the State of Qatar has to celebrate the assumption anniversary of Sheikh Jassim Bin Mohamed Al Thani .
Elaborating he said that Sheikh Jassim , Allah the Almighty bless him in his last abode , enjoyed wisdom , knowledge , generosity and political statecraft , the matter which has gained him the hearts of his own people who accordingly rallied around him and showed him obedience and loyalty.
HE Al-Kholeifi affirmed that Sheikh Jassim, the real founder of the State of Qatar, is considered one of the greatest Qatari personalities who appeared at the end of the 19th century and the first half of the 20th century.
The wise government has proved right when it issued the law No./11/ of 2007 as being the anniversary of assuming power and thus becomes a national day being celebrated every year.
" Allah the Almighty has blessed our country with a wise and enlighted and sound government which renaissance is being led by HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani who takes the distinguished deeds of our leaders as an example to turn our country to occupy the sublime positions of the developed countries", QNA quoted HE Speaker of the Advisory Council as saying.(QNA)
