Meeting of the Arab Ministerial Committee on the peace initiative Starts

Doha, December 09 (QNA) - The Meeting of the Ministerial Committee on the Arab peace initiative started Sunday at Sheraton Doha Hotel under the chairmanship of HE the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor Al Thani. The meeting will be attended by Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and Arab League Secretary-General Dr. Nabil Al-Arabi. Arab League's Deputy Secretary-General Ahmed bin Helli said in a press statement that the meeting will discuss the Arab position on the peace process and reevaluate the peace process in addition to the Palestinian reconciliation. The meeting comes after upgrading Palestine's status to non-member, observer state in the United Nation late November. (QNA)
