Qatar News Agency Organizes Photography Course
Doha, December 02 (QNA) - Qatar News Agency (QNA) will organize tomorrow a photography training course for Qataris as part of the series of training courses organized by the Information Relations Department at QNA premises to train Qataris working in the media field with the participation of 11 government departments and a number QNA staff.
The aim of the three-day training course is to acquaint the participants with photography tools, provide training on how to deal with imaging times and places, as well as the use of the Photoshop to modify and adjust images. Abdullah Hamdan Al Mannai will give lectures during the course. Al-Mannai participated in many competitions and won many awards the most important of which were the competition of the National Council for Culture, Arts and Heritage in photography in Qatar and the 2nd Arab-European exhibition contest which was held in Germany.
The course's programme features many topics and themes, including identifying the structure of the camera and control buttons, lenses, settings lens, and the most important terms and their definitions in photography, art of image composition and explanation of the most important rules of photography with the provision of examples.
The trainer will also present important tips for a journalism photographer on event documentation, how to identify the most important equipment and tools in night imaging night, advice and guidance on the timing of imaging, imaging of waterfalls and landscapes, sport photography and its most important rules.
QNA is scheduled to organize several courses in the year 2012 -2013, including (refuting media campaigns, integration of GCC media discourse, arts of conducting interviews and skills to deal with VIPs, facilitating the exchange of information between media organizations, management of the editing room in agencies news, and the planning and management of media organizations).
The training courses organized by QNA comes in response to Emiri Decision No. 51 of 2009, which entrusted Qatari News Agency with organizing training courses for Qatari media men to develop their media and improve their media capacities and professional skills through continued training and development programmes.(QNA)
