Qatar Women Sport Committee Chief Meets Dubai Sports Council Head

Dubai, November 27 (QNA) - Qatar Women's Sport Committee President Ahlam Al Mana on Tuesday met with Dubai Sports Council's (DSC) Secretary General Ahmed Al-Sharif, on the sidelines of Women Gulf Championship that concluded yesterday in Dubai. The meeting discussed the work mechanisms at DSC according to its five-year strategic plan and Dubai government's strategic plan. Al Mana was also briefed on the strategic initiatives of the council that was founded in 2005. For his part, Al-Sharif hailed the role of Qatar in supporting Arab sports and particularly women sports. "Qatar is blessed by its wise and visionary leadership that is a source of pride for the peoples of Gulf, and it has been supported by HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, HH the Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and HH Sheikha Moza bint Nasser.
