Qatari Premier Calls on UN Security Council to Assume Responsibilities in Maintaining Security

Riyadh, November 14 (QNA) - Qatar's Prime Minister and Foreign Minister HE Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor Al Thani has called on the UN Security Council to assume its responsibilities in the maintaining security, stressing that the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip will not go unpunished. HE the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, in his statement on the sidelines of the second joint ministerial meeting of the strategic dialogue between the GCC states and the Russian Federation, which was held at the headquarters of the GCC General Secretariat of the Council of Riyadh tonight said : " on behalf of the State of Qatar I condemn the attacks and extend condolences to the victims in Gaza. He said this criminal attack must not go unpunished and the Security Council must assume its responsibilities in maintaining peace and security in worldwide. " HE the Premier and Foreign Minister added that " such acts encourage extremism" ..... "We reject terrorism and reject extremism", but such attacks are irresponsible and unjustified and should be condemned by the world.", HE the Premier and Foreign Minister noted. (QNA)
