Advisory Council's General Secretary Praises Efforts of HH the Emir

Doha, November 06 (QNA) - General Secretary of the Advisory council, HE Fahd bin Mubarak al-Khayareen has expressed his sincere gratitude to HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani for inaugurating the 41st Ordinary session of the Advisory Council. In a press statement he gave here on Tuesday , HE Al-Khayareen conveyed his congratulations to HH the Emir, HH the heir apparent, and the Qatari people on the occasion of holding the session where HH the Emir spoke to the public of the annual accomplishments and the outlines of the new policy. The Council's General Secretary also praised the vast accomplishments the state of Qatar has witnessed under the wise leadership of HH the Emir and hailed His Highness' due care of the council's affairs being the platform of the public's participation in running the state. HE Al-Khayareen described the speech of HH the Emir inaugurating the 41st session as clear and holistical and was inclusive of numerous accomplishments in economic, social, and political fields. Touching on the foreign affairs' side, the speech also tackled Qatar's quests to unite the Arab and Muslim communities together as well as supporting the people of fellow countries. He hailed the visit HH the Emir paid to the Gaza Strip earlier in October, as being the first Arab leader to visit Gaza and said it was a notable step in Qatar's foreign policy. The General Secretary of the Advisory council also expressed thanks to HE the Speaker of the Advisory Council Mohamed bin Mubarak Al-Khulaifi and the Council's members for their sincere efforts serving the State of Qatar and wished the next session would result in further development and prosperity.
