HH the Emir of Qatar Lays the Foundation Stone of Salahudddin Street in Gaza

Gaza, October 23 (QNA) - HH the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani laid on Tuesday afternoon the foundation stone of the re-establishment of Salahuddin Street in the Gaza Strip in the presence of head of the deposed Palestinian government Dr Islamil Haniyah and a number of senior officials in the strip . The stone foundation laying ceremony was attended by HH Sheikha Moza Bint Nasser . HE Foreign Minister and Prime Minister Sheikh Hamad Bin Jassim Bin Jabor Al Thani Their Excellencies members of the delegation accompanying HH the Emir, also attended the ceremony. A massive popular audience of the Gaza Strip population, attended the event. The Salahuddin Street re-establishment project extends from Wadi Gaza Bridge to Rafah Crossing in the South with 28 Kms- long and 30- Meters wide , is one of the projects aiming to reconstructing the regional roads in the strip including the reconstruction of al-Rasheed Street and Al Karama Street. HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani and HH Sheikha Moza Bint Nasser arrived here at noon earlier today for a short visit to the Gaza Strip. (QNA)
