HH the Deputy Emir Meets Outgoing Iranian Ambassador

Doha, September 18 (QNA) - HH the Deputy Emir and Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani met here at his Emiri Diwan office on Tuesday morning with HE Iranian Ambassador to Qatar Abdullah Suhrabi on the occasion of the expiry of his tenure in the country. At the outset of the meeting, HH the Deputy Emir and Heir Apparent awarded the Iranian Ambassador the Sash of Merit in appreciation to his efforts to promote the relations between the two countries. HH the Deputy Emir wished the Ambassador success in his future assignments and the relations between Qatar and Iran more progress and prosperity. For his part, the Iranian Ambassador expressed thanks and gratitude to HH the Deputy Emir and Heir Apparent and the officials in the State for the cooperation accorded to him during his tour of duty.
