Culture Minister Honors Workshop Participants

Doha, September 11 (QNA) - Minister of Culture, Arts and Heritage HE Dr. Hamad bin Abdulaziz Al-Kuwari on Tuesday honored participants from of the staff of GCC culture ministries on the three-day "Qualification and Training" workshop, hosted in Doha in coordination with the Department of Cultural Affairs of the GCC general secretariat. HE the Minister distributed certificates to the staff, wishing them more success and contribution to pushing cultural work in their countries towards ambitious prospects that serve the Arab culture. The qualification workshop touched on getting participants familiar with the latest developments in the cultural arena and how to set up cultural programs. It was presented by Dr. Walid Al-Hadithi, expert at the Ministry of Culture, while Dr. Mustafa Mubarak, another expert in the ministry, offered definition of key cultural terms. This workshop is held every two years in a GCC country as a cultural activity, and aims to introduce participants to the concept of management of cultural institutions and providing them with the knowledge and skills relevant to the concept of creativity in associated cultural work.
