Interior Ministry Calls for Issuing Exit Permits Before Going to Doha Airport
Doha, September 10 (QNA) - The Interior Ministry has called on citizens (minors) and residents, travelling abroad, to issue exit permits before going to Doha International Airport or to any other port. This comes within the context of the ministry's endeavors to facilitate the completion of travelling transactions.
The ministry also urged Qatar's residents to issue exit permits for their sons who are over 18 years before going to the airport, as male expatriates (residents or visitors), who have attained this age will not be allowed to leave the country without an exit permit from the sponsor (the parent).
Assistant Director General of Passports and Expatriates Affairs, Brigadier Mohammed Ahmed Al-Ateeq stressed that the exit permits can be issued at all the service centers in the country including passports Department at Doha airport and the website of the Ministry of Interior.
He added that the categories which must issue exit permits before leaving the country are Qatari minors, expatriates, visitors of the state whose stay exceed thirty days excluding women on husbands' sponsorship and minors. (QNA)
