Kazakh frontier post head arrested on suspicion of beating border guards

Azerbaijan, Baku, June 21 / Trend / Three servicemen serving upon the contract, including the chief of the frontier post Tersayryk in East Kazakhstan region have been detained on suspicion of beating the border guards, Kazakh Main Military Prosecutor's Office said today, Kazinform reported. On June 18, 2012, about 11 conscripts of Tersayryk frontier post of the military unit No 2017 left the outpost. On the same day the operational and search activities were held. These conscripts were found. They said that they had been beaten by servicemen serving upon the contract. On June 19, 2012 the military prosecutor of Ust-Kamenogorsk garrison filed a criminal case under paragraph "a", part 2, Article 380-1 of the Criminal Code. The Ust-Kamenogorsk Military Investigation Department detained three servicemen serving upon the contract, including the chief of the frontier post within the investigation of a criminal case in accordance with Article 132 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kazakh Republic, the office said.
