NATO delivers medical equipment to Georgian hospital

Georgia, Tbilisi, June 16 / Trend N. Kirtzkhalia /
NATO Logistics Agency delivered new equipment for medical rehabilitation to a military hospital in Gori (Georgia) within "Georgia III" project.
The closing ceremony of the project took place in Gori within the NATO week in Georgia.
Georgian Deputy Prime Minister Giorgi Baramidze, Deputy Defense Minister Andro Barnov, head of NATO Liaison Office William Lahue and Czech Ambassador to Georgia Ivan Estrab spoke about the importance of the project at the ceremony.
Medical Rehabilitation Project was launched in October 2010. Its purpose is to develop opportunities of physical therapy at the hospital.
The equipment worth 80,000 euro was delivered to the hospital. The Czech Republic is a donor of medical rehabilitation project.
