Azerbaijan, Turkey and Georgia sign Trabzon declaration

In his speech, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov said that Azerbaijan attaches great importance to the development of energy projects in the region. Mammadyarov also noted that the Turkish city of Kars on June 9 will host a meeting of economic ministers of the three countries with the participation of entrepreneurs in Azerbaijan, Turkey and Georgia. Touching upon the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict, the Minister noted that the recent events at the contact line between Azerbaijani and Armenian troops have shown that the conflict is not frozen, and added that this conflict undermines security and stability in the region, as well as poses a danger to the region's future.
