Azerbaijan Youth Foundation organizes its presentation ceremony

Azerbaijan, Baku, June 4 / Trend / The Azerbaijan Youth Foundation under the Ministry of Youth and Sport of the Republic of Azerbaijan was established on December 19, 2011 according to the Presidential Decree No. 542 adopted by Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. According to the youth policy, the Foundation will provide the increase of activities directed to the development of science, education, culture and other social spheres, the foundation told Trend today. Among the main objectives of the Foundation are also the provision of financial support to the projects and programs realized on an international level; support of conferences, seminars, festivals, Olympiads and other events implemented in these spheres; assistance in strengthening of financial and technical base of the organizations and their adaptation to modern requirements. The Foundation will support innovative ideas of youth, youth organizations, as well as state and local structures, in the areas of applied research, major social issues and administration; will increase the initiatives and participation of young generation in the development of state and society, stimulate the creation and management of ideas. The Azerbaijan Youth Foundation held a competition on its logo design. The goal of the competition was to enable the youth to take active participation in the activities of the Foundation and in creation of its logo. The competition has been finalized and in total 181 logo designs were received. Young people from different European countries also participated in this competition. The Azerbaijan Youth Foundation will hold its presentation ceremony on June 8, 2012, 12.00 am, at "Sharg zali" of "JW Marriott Absheron" Hotel. During the ceremony, the foundation's logo, website, areas of activity will be presented to the public. The official representatives of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan, ministers, deputies, private sector representatives, members of youth organizations will participate in this event.
