Deflation hits 2.1 per cent in Georgia

Georgia, Tbilisi, June 1 / Trend N. Kirtskhalia / The consumer price index was 97.9 per cent in Georgia in April 2012 compared to the same period of 2011, the Georgian Statistics Agency said today. The index of consumer prices was unchanged in April compared to March. The index of producer prices of industrial products increased by 1.3 per cent in April 2012 compared to April last year. Prices increased by one per cent during a month.
