Iran extends a hand of friendship to Persian Gulf countries - IRGC Commander

Azerbaijan, Baku, May 31 /Trend S.Isayev, T. Jafarov/ Iran extends a hand of friendship to Persian Gulf countries, IRGC Commander Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari said, IRNA reported. Jafari made the remarks while visiting the disputed Persian Gulf islands of Abu Musa and the Greater and Lesser Tunbs. The UAE has repeatedly questioned Iran's sovereignty over the three Persian Gulf islands of Abu Musa and the Greater and Lesser Tunbs and urged Tehran to agree to take the dispute to the International Court of Justice in The Hague or engage in direct negotiations.
