Ashghal Offers 56 Jobs for Qataris at Qatar Career Fair

Doha, April 01 (QNA) - Public Works Authority (Ashghal) President Nasser Al Mawlawi said that Ashghal has earmarked 56 job opportunities from Qatari nationals and has initiated a scholarship program to send them abroad to study certain subjects of interest to Ashghal. Speaking to reporters on the margins of the opening of Qatar Career Fair today, Al Mawlawi said Ashghal currently has 300 vacancies in fields like engineering, technical and administrative professionals. He said that there is a great demand on engineering jobs in both public and private sectors, pointing to a cooperation between Ashghal and Qatar University's College of Engineering. Ashghal President also said that the number of Qatari graduate engineers cannot meet the local market needs. (QNA)
