Mottaki: US tries to make Iran-IAEA cooperation road one-way

United Nations, New York, Oct 4, IRNA - Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki said here Friday that the US tries to make the extensive road of cooperation between Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency one-way.

"The US tries to turn the road of extensive Iran-IAEA cooperation
one-way but Tehran will not basically enter into such a US-made
one-way road," Mottaki told IRNA before leaving New York.

Mottaki assured IRNA that Tehran will within the framework of its
committments and based on the IAEA laws, regulations and authorities
maintain cooperation with the Agency.

He said the re-thinking option is always on table but the important
point is that we can continue our way in a logical course.

"Pondering on recent moves taking place in the IAEA will show that we
have actually dealt with the IAEA. We drew the work frame with the
Agency and operationalized it one and half years ago, telling the body
to raise whatever questions and ambiguities they have so that we would
answer them."
