Thai military coordinates anti-terrorism measures well with all parties

BANGKOK, January 18 (TNA) - Thai Supreme Commander General Thanasak Patimaprakorn insisted Wednesday on the unity in the Royal Thai Armed Forces and confirmed that the military will do the best to coordinate terrorism prevention with all parties and has achieved in guaranteeing order in the country. The supreme commander told reporters after attending a ceremony to mark the Royal Thai Armed Forces Day at the National Memorial in Bangkok that all parties concerned could cope with terror threats and cooperated well with one another for terrorism prevention. The Thai armed forces chief acknowledged, however, that soldiers would be the last party to come out and take actions against terrorists and they would keep their intelligence reports secret. The supreme commander also affirmed that the Royal Thai Armed Forces are always committed to observing the Thai Constitution, serving people and protecting the national sovereignty and the royal institution.
