Turkey to train Libyan police officers

TRIPOLI (A.A) - January 15, 2012 - Turkish Police Department will train Libyan police officers. A Turkish delegation led by Security Department's Deputy Director General Ahmet Pek arrived in Tripoli on Saturday to shape the projects within that scope. The training in Turkey was planned to begin on March 4. A Libyan delegation would visit Turkey soon to discuss the issue. Pek told AA that Libyans had an intensive training demand from Turkey, adding that some of the Libyan police had officers already begun training in Jordan.
