Nujeifi discusses the Iraqi status quo and the political situation in the Arab arena with the Egyptian Consul

Baghdad (NINA) – Parliament Speaker, Osama Al Nujeifi, discussed with the Egyptian Consul, Mohammed Abdul Majeed Attiya, the Iraqi status quo and the political situation in the Arab arena, in addition to the bilateral relations and means to promote them. A statement issued by Nujeifi’s office mentioned “Egypt has a historical and present effect in the Arab world and the region.” In response to the query from Attiya about Nujeifi’s recent initiative, Nujeifi said “the initiative took into consideration the geopolitical factor of Iraq’s geographical site to limit the number of countries to participate to four only.” /End/
