GERMAN CHANCELLOR MEETS PEACEKEEPERS
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany (FRG) and the State Head of Mongolia Ts.Elbegdorj met Thursday with Mongolian and German peacekeepers and officers. They are the representation of those who are to take part in the military peacekeeping operations in Afghanistan soon.
"I thanks all of you, the representation of the Armed Forces of Mongolia, and I am really glad that our Federal troops are serving together with the Mongolian peacekeepers," Mrs Merkel said.
"Peacekeeping operations are not a chidren game, but it is respectful responsibility, and I am confident that you will successfully fulfill it," she said.
The State Head Ts.Elbegdorj thanked the German instructors and teachers for helping the Mongolian troops during the operations, and underlined an importance of the collaboration in the defense sector. Then he wished the peacekeepers a successful participation in the mission.
