Baku,24 September,(AzerTAj)Dear Summit participants, I warmly greet you – participants of the Fourth International Youth Employment
Summit (YES) in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, and wish success to your summit and health, happiness and tranquility each of you.
In the period of globalization, employment of the youth, which is considered as the
most active social class, is in the center of attention of corresponding structures
as extremely actual problem worldwide. The analysis of job security of such big
force possessing high potential should be carried out according to requirements of
an information society, should be created necessary conditions for its familiarizing
with new technology and innovations, and raise the role in creation of the economy
basing on knowledge.
Participation in your Summit of the delegates, who have arrived from various corners
of the world, is expression of the interest shown to the problem of employment of
youth internationally. I hope that, using wide experience of the various countries
presented at this authoritative event, you will find the new conceptual approaches
for decision of the problems of employment, and will prepare proposals on the
mechanism of their application.
Employment of youth is directly connected with today and tomorrow of the society,
and the Azerbaijan state therefore approaches to this cause with extreme interest
and care. We have defined the further improvement of well-being of the population as
a priority of the policy pursued by the state. The large scope of social and
economic progress, strengthening of economic potential and creation of new
workplaces in our republic, confidently moving on a development way, open wide
opportunities before our youth, stimulate them to the new steps directed on increase

Sure, this forum conducted in our country, located on crossroads of civilizations,
along with strengthening of mutual cooperation between our states, will contribute
also to realization of various large-scale projects in the current period of global
