Zibari discusses with his Russian, Indonesian counterparts mutual relations

Baghdad (NINA) – Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshiyar Zibari discussed with his Russian and Indonesian counterparts mutual relations and means to develop them.

A statement issued by the Foreign Ministry said “Zibari met with the Russian and Indonesian Foreign Ministers on the margins of the UN General Assembly’s meetings on its 66th session.”

It added “Zibari discussed with Sergey Lavrov, Russian Foreign Minister, the developing political process in Iraq and he diplomatic cooperation between both countries’ foreign ministries in a way that leads to more coordination in the international forums.”

“Zibari discussed also with Marti Nataliyagao, Indonesian Foreign Minister, his country’s decision to reopen its embassy in Baghdad, both sides agreed on intensifying bilateral communications. The Indonesian minister accepted Zibari’s invitation to visit Iraq, as soon as possible.”

Both sides stressed necessity of enhancing the Non Aligned Countries Movement role through creating mechanisms that help the Movement achieve its goals.
