Esawi discusses the treatment strategy for Finance domain problems with WB team

Baghdad (NINA) – Finance Minster, Rafe' Al Esawi, discussed with a team from the World Bank means for developing bilateral relations in service of the economic and investment interests of Iraq and the strategy to treat the finance sector problems in Iraq.
A statement issued by the media office of the ministry said "both sides discussed during th meeting means to decrease unemployment rate in Iraq, training and developing them as well as discussing energy sector and how to overcome the hurdles that are blocking its development."
The statement added that a strategic plan to treat the finance sector problems and the budget deficit was discussed. Mechanism to treat the deficit in the coming budgets was also discussed."
For its part, the WB teams expressed "readiness to study a proposal to turn the regional bureau of the WB from Beirut to Baghdad very soon."
