security force coming from Karbala arrests 20 people from Rutba, 2 Imams of mosques among them
Ramadi (NINA) – A source in the Anbar Operations Command said today that “a force coming from the Anti-terror Unit in Karbala entered Anbar province and arrested 20 civilians from Rutba city.”
The source told NINA “the force entered the province and went ot he border city of Rutba, next to the Jordanian borders, and arrested 20 people, including Sheikh Abdul Aleem Hamid and Sheikh Abdul Kareem Al Dulaimi, the Imams and Preachers of two mosques in Rutba without giving reasons for the arrest.”
The source explained that the “entry and exit of these forces was without acknowledging the security forces in the province. The officials of the province are trying to contact the force to know the reasons of the arrest and reasons of entering the city without informing the security commands of the city.”
