Sciences and Technologies designs, implements power system for unmanned plane using solar energy

Baghdad (NINA) – A researcher in the Research and Industrial Development Department-Ministry of Sciences and Technologies conducted a research about the design and implementation of a full system of power for unmanned plane.

The ministry mentioned on its official website today that “the full system provides stable and fix power which increases the flying hours over the current average which also leads to maximum benefit from the plane in monitoring and air survey and other civil services.”

The ministry mentioned that “the system comprises a new generation of the solar cells and lithium ion batteries that enjoy a high storage capacity, it also carries special gear for converting the power taken from the solar cells.”
