Sayhoud: Iraqis regard the statements aired by the Integrity Commission as political blackmail
Baghdad (NINA) – MP from the National Alliance Mohammed Sadoun Al Sayhoud called on the Integrity Commission and Parliamentary Integrity Committee to unveil the involved officials in the admin and financial corruption from using the corruption files for political blackmail.
Sayhoud said in a statement issued by his media office today that “the integrity bodies confirmed in many occasions the presence of corruption files that could expose the names of these involved in the media outlets, but, they have not do it yet.”
He added that Iraqis started to believe that “these statements are attempts for political blackmail. The Integrity Commission and Parliamentary Integrity Committee should live up to their statements.”
Sayhoud said that statements of Integrity Commission and Parliamentary Integrity Committee are similar to a “hubbub” unless we see reflections on the ground.
