Maliki: the US forces withdrawal from Iraq will take place by end of 2011
Baghdad (NINA) – Prime Minister, Nouri Al Maliki, stressed “the US forces withdrawal agreement from Iraq is going to be implemented in time, there will not be any US forces base.”
In an interview with a local TV, Maliki said “in case the building of Port Mubarak countering Iraq’s interests or harms them, we will object to it through the right and legal ways followed by international bodies.”
As for the national partnership “the partnership is achieved in Iraq and the evidence on that is the formation of the government and ministries,” pointing out that “it is not possible to accept a council that contradicts with the constitution (in an implicit statement about the council that the Iraqiya Slate wants to have.
Maliki went on saying “everyone should work on implementing the constitution after we managed to complete the partnership stage.”
